How Avon Representatives Get Paid
Table of Contents
When you sign up to sell avon, there are two different ways Avon Representatives get paid. We will explore how Avon Representatives get paid when you sell Avon online through your e-store versus when you sell Avon in person to your customers.
But first, it is important to understand the distinction between your e-store and your back office.
Understanding the Different Ways to Sell Avon
It’s important to note that there two different ways you can sell Avon. The first is through your representative e-store that you set up when you first signed up to become an Avon Representative.
Getting Paid for your Avon E-Store Orders
Your e-store is where your customers shop with you online. When customers shop your e-store, they will enter in youravon.com/YourRepID in the URL box of their browser or click on the link if you provide it. Then they are able to shop Avon products online.
When a customer places an order through your e-store, Avon ships them the products and deposits your affiliate earnings in one of two ways.
- Direct Deposited into your account if you have direct deposit set up in your back office
- Direct Deposited onto a prepaid debit card, which will be mailed to you within 14 days of placing your order. After you receive the debit card for the first time, Avon can continue to direct deposit your earnings on to that card
It’s important to note, if you for any reason have a balance on your Avon account, Avon will put your earnings toward that balance before depositing your earnings to your bank account or pre-paid card
Place Your Avon Order Through your Back Office for In-Person Customer Sales
When you distribute brochures to your customers in person and they give you their order to place for them, the most effective way to place the order is through your back office.
You can access your Avon back office by entering www.avonnow.com into your browser’s URL bar and then logging in using your Account number and password.
You WILL NEED YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO LOG IN. If you have misplaced it, Avon or your upline mentor can help.
When you place an order from your back office, you will be charged a discounted rate for your products based on your sales level.
Avon Representatives get paid when they collect full brochure price from their customers including TAX and convenience fee. The surplus is your Avon earnings.
I have included an in depth video on how to invoice your customers so you can ensure you aren’t leaving any money on the table when collecting money from your customers.
How to Build Avon Invoices
Avon has a useful invoicing tool that helps Avon Representatives get paid when they sell Avon products. You can find it in your back office at AvonNow.com under Manage Business and Web Office and Invoice Customers.
You can begin by setting your tax rate and deciding on a convenience fee. Convenience fees vary by representative. Some representatives charge 75 cents. I charge $3. What you choose for a convenience fee is up to you.
To find your tax rate, look on your most recent Avon invoice. The tax rate that Avon charged to you is the tax rate you will transfer onto your customer. Input that same rate at the top of the invoice tool.
Your convenience fee and tax rate will automatically print on your invoices going forward. You can change your rates at any time.
This guide will walk you through in depth how to invoice your customers and get paid as an Avon Representative.
How Much Do Avon Representatives Make?
You might be wondering how much money you can make when you Sell Avon!
I have a complete guide on The Avon Compensation Plan for 2020. With Avon, you earn based on your sales title. If you have just started your Avon business, you will earn 25% on orders over $40 until you accumulate $5000 in award sales during a calendar year. At that point, you will make 30% commission on all orders.
But that’s not all. If you are brand new, within your first four months with Avon, you will earn on the Avon Pathway to Premier Incentive Program.
This program awards you with cash bonuses throughout your first four months with Avon. You will earn cash back bonuses starting at $25 every time you accumulate $200 in sales within a single campaign. These bonuses are in addition to the commissions you earn based on your sales level.
If you hit all of your sales goals on the Pathway to Premier you will earn $3250 or 65% earnings!

That knows the value of a perfect lip, but still opens its mouth and speaks out against domestic violence and for women’s financial independence. This is the company that not only brings beauty to doors, but also opens them. This is Avon. The company that for over a century has stood for beauty, innovation, optimism and, above all, for women.
What Avon Does for Women
Everyday, Avon brings beauty to the lives of women. At Avon, beauty means more than finding the right lipstick shade for a customer. It means providing an earnings opportunity so a woman can support her family; and championing causes that matter to many women – eradicating breast cancer and ending domestic violence.
