The Avon Promotion tool allows you to create and offer pre-designed promotions to your customers. The promotions have been carefully created for Avon Representatives to get customers to shop with you.

The offers that are available were created with careful consideration based on what discounts have worked the best in the past for the company’s profitability.

These coupon codes were created based on analytics from previous digital coupon codes and their past success at customer acquisition.

Because some of the Avon promotions will carry a fee to the representative, they were designed in a way that a representative would not be operating their Avon business in the negative.

Where to find the Avon Promotions Tool

You can find the Avon Promotions tool when you log into your back office using your Avon account number and password.

  1. Navigate to the “Manage Business’ tab and pull down the drop down menu
  2. Click “Promotion Tool”

How to Search for Avon Coupon Codes

It is quick and easy to choose and create coupon codes. But maybe you want to search for coupon codes that are available to use. Or maybe you want to look at past Avon Coupon Codes that you have created for your customers. You can search several different ways inside the Avon Promotions Tool:

  • You can search the coupon codes that are available
  • You can search by the coupon code that you used
  • You can search by customers to see what code the customer responded to by using customers in your address book.
  • You can also search by status of the promotion (active, draft, submitted, expired). If you still have promotions active, you can decide whether or not to add more customers to it.

How to use the Avon Promotion Tool to Create Avon Coupon Codes

Creating an Avon Promotion for your customers is quick and easy. Once you access the tool as outlined above and click “Create promotion”. Then, you can move to the following steps:

Customize Avon Promotion

The first step is to customize your Avon Promotion. You will click the drop down menu to view the different types of promotions that will be available for you to use. Click the promotion you want to customize.

Check to ensure the accuracy and evaluate your costs for offering the coupon code. Take your cost into consideration with how many days you will run the promotion. Some coupon codes will be free for you to run. And others will have a cost associated with them.

It’s important to note, again, that these coupons will ONLY be available to those customers who are subscribed to receive email marketing from you.

So only customers who will be receiving consistent sales communications will be able to use these coupons. This may result in them actually placing orders outside of when they receive coupons. Knowing this information can help you evaluate the effect the cost will have to your business.

Create your Avon Coupon Code

Type in Your Avon Coupon Code and adjust the start dates as needed. Coupon codes must be between 5 and 20 characters. They must be created using letters and numbers ONLY with NO spaces.

Using the Calendar to Adjust Dates

When you tap the calendar icon, you can adjust the dates of your promotion by clicking the start date and the end date for the code. The start date will not allow you to start the coupon until the day AFTER you create the code. Or you can schedule your promotions out into the future.

Notes

In this space, you can keep notes about the promotions you provide so that you can remember what promotions you created and who you delivered them to.

Select Customers to Receive the Avon Promotions

You can find and select customers to receive your promotions in a couple of different ways.

  • search by customer name
  • Search by groups (see the video below on how to add customers to your address book for further explanation on groups)
  • Filter by Birthday

Select your customers by adding a checkmark in the square box next to their name. You can also check the box at the top left of the screen to select all of your customers.

When you have chosen your customers, you can click add selected. This will add them to the coupon.

Only customers who have an email address subscribed to email marketing will appear in the “Select Customers” drop down menu. This may also jog your memory to reach out to a specific customer and ask them to subscribe so you can send them a coupon.

Compose an Email Message to Your Customers

After you have selected your customers, you can add an email message to send to them with the Avon Coupon Code.

Customers will receive a pre-designed email from Avon, but adding a message allows you to further personalize the email to your customers. You can include up to 200 characters in your email message.

Submit Your Promotion

Once you have completed all of the steps, it is time to submit your promotion. Review the details carefully before submitting. IF you find an error, you can click “Edit” or you can click submit to submit the promotions.

Promotions can run as soon as ONE day after they are created.

Analyzing your Avon Promotion Tool Data

If your promotion has expired, you can analyze the data to determine the effectiveness of your Avon Coupon Code. You can take a look at your promotion’s cost per order and how many orders you had as a result of your promotion.

Additionally the report will list out which customers received the promotion and what action, if any, they took. You will be able to see if your customers redeemed the promotion you offered to them.

In addition, if applicable, you will be able to see what day the customers placed their order and the amount of the order.

How to ensure your Avon Customers Receive your Avon Coupon Codes

In order to receive your customized Avon Coupon Codes, your customers MUST be signed up and subscribed to your email list. When you add a new customer into your address book, always be sure to get their email list. Here’s a quick video on how to add customers to your Avon address book.

Your customers will access the codes available to them when they are signed into their Avon customer account on your e-store. To ensure that your customers are able to receive promotions from you, they must be subscribed to receive emails.

Some customers are concerned about the frequency of marketing promotions they receive. However, they are able to easily change their settings to receive emails from you when they want – even as little as once a month. Here’s a quick video on how they can change their email preferences to only see the content THEY want, WHEN they want. No matter what frequency of emails they are subscribed to, so long as they are subscribed, you will be able to send them special coupon code offers.

These coupon codes are not formatted so that they are available for sharing on social media or other marketing platforms. You, of course, can share that there are coupon codes that you can offer, but the customer MUST BE SUBSCRIBED to your email list to access them.
