Avon Cashmere Complexion Foundation – My Review

I didn’t think I could ever love anything as much as I love my Ink Lasting Slim Fit and Ink Lasting Cushion Foundation by the Face Shop. Then Avon launched it’s Cashmere line of foundations.

First of all, I had 30 shades to choose from.

30 SHADES!!

What??? Who can’t find a great match when they have 30 shades to choose from.

Cashmere Complexion Foundation by Avon Vs. Avon X The Face Shop Ink Lasting Foundation

So, the Cashmere Foundation by Avon is being marketed as a full-coverage foundation product. But I am getting amazing coverage from my Ink Lasting Cushion Foundation by The Face Shop X Avon.

Here’s the deal. The difference in the two brands is the FINISH – not necessarily the coverage.

The Avon Cashmere Foundation Line gives you a strong matte finish. While the Cushion foundation will give you great coverage, but leave you with a dewey glow.

So I still love my cushion foundation for my every day glow. But I love my Cashmere on days that I’m filming videos or when I need my makeup to really have that added staying power.

But, Really….How long will this long-lasting foundation last?

Speaking of staying power, the Cashmere Complexion Foundation is meant to last for 24 hours!!

Have you ever looked in the mirror after lunch and decided you had to reapply your makeup?

Well not anymore.

Cashmere is going to stay on for 24 hours if you want it to. Also – it’s water resistant. So no more sweating it off after a workout!

The Application

Much to my surprise, the Avon Cashmere Complexion Foundation comes with a doe-foot applicator. And just one swab into the product provided me with a perfect full-faced coverage that lasted all day!

But what was more, the awesome applicator allowed me to conceal little skin imperfections by dabbing a bit more coverage on them. And I was also able to use it as a highlighter with some lighter shades of the product.

I used a blending sponge to blend the product – not the doe foot applicator. You can use your hands or a dampened makeup applicator to dab the product into your skin.

Avon Cashmere Complexion Concealer

I loved using the Avon Cashmere Complexion foundation alongside the Avon Cashmere Complexion concealer.

While you can definitely use other concealers with the Cashmere foundation, the two together were just such a natural fit. The Avon Cashmere Concealer also boasts 24 hours of wear (and I can attest to the fact that it stayed that long!). But the soft focus matte finish made the application truly flawless when it came time to blend.
